JP Roukis

JP’s passion for teaching, his extensive knowledge of showjumping, and his honest business practices have propelled him and his students to the top of the sport. JP’s caters to riders of all levels and ages from the Grand Prixs to the 3’6” equitation to the Walk/Trot.

Originally from Long Island, JP grew up as a working student for Jimmy Rice. He went on to work for Emil Spadone, Ralph Caristo, and Alan Korotkin. Much of JP’s knowledge and teaching style can also be traced back to Olympian Michael Page, who has mentored JP since his days as a junior rider.

As a junior, JP Rode in the USEF Medal, ASPCA Maclay, USET, Junior Hunters, and Junior Jumpers. JP had given back to the sport in several ways including severing on several USEF and USHJA committees including the USEF Board of Directors.

While JP’s students often enjoy success in the show ring, proper horsemanship and respect for the horses always come first. JP’s care and compassion for the horse are second to none.
